The place was clean. Effort had been made to make the place welcoming - some cheerful ornaments and pictures. The place was close to the beach and ideal for a family on a beach hoiliday

There was a rather horrid smell about the place when we first entered. We opened windows and doors and in due course the smell evaporated. Pity the place wasn't 'aired' before we arrived. Also it seemed very over-priced. But of course, if there had been better value available, we would have taken that. So, supply and demand. But $350 a night out of season is ridiculous for a place that we would resent paying more than $200 for in Melbourne. If you want to go to Cervantes, that appears to be what you have to pay. Sadly, the town needs all the help it can get, and prices like that will deter visitors. The whole town appears to be poor value for money. Perhaps we were unlucky, but my belief is that accommodation is discouragingly over-priced.

Beautifully presented house and great location

The Beach House is in a great location, easy to walk to The Lobster Shack for lunch and the Bowling Club for dinner, 2mins from the beach. House is spotlessly clean, all good

We only stayed for 2 nights, so to be charged $165 for cleaning, although known, was very expensive.

Absolutely perfect layout for my friend and I. It is also fantastic if you have a couple of kids as they are in the hallway to toilet and bathroom, separate from living and parents room. Most beautiful, new kitchen with soft closing doors and just a pleasure to be able to cook in it so effortlessly. I love a great coffee and the pod machine was so nice to wake up to. Everything is new and sleek but cozy at the same time. A close walk to everything and a beautiful lookout over the sunset just a 2-minute walk. Awesome closed in backyard although we didn't use it but did make use of the washing machine and clothes line. Next time we will stay for a week.
