Fell in love with Steni Valla - a small port with a bit of bustle, mostly sailing people coming and going and a selection of excellent restaurants, with a 'turquoise water' beach 5 minutes away. The property is ideally located looking over the port for excellent people and sunset watching! Very good value for money, enough space for a family of 5, good bathroom facilities, clean and so convenient for everything you need. The island itself is stunning (green and dramatic with forests tumbling into the turquoise sea. I would like to explore more next time and would hire a car to do that. Chora (old village) is charming with a fabulous antique shop and fully of history.
Very little! The marine life was a bit disappointing, especially with it being a marine park. But snorkeling around the rocks at the apex of the little bays was worth doing with more fish to see. They say May/June is better for snorkeling and fish life.

We loved our stay at Restia House. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and perfectly located with a beautiful sea view over the yachts moored up directly outside. Lots of thoughtful touches provided by host Ionna including Nespresso coffee machine with plentiful pods, tea, buttter and jam etc. The waterfront restaurants and a really good food shop are right on your doorstep and great beaches a short walk away. This is an absolute gem!
