The location is absolutely amazing. Fantastic to have access to the pool area. We loved the garden too. The sheets were good quality and beds were comfortable. Great having the sun umbrella. The agency were delightful and very helpful.
Whilst we adored our stay and think there’s a lovely cosy feeling in this house, we felt that there was a lot that was a bit old and could use a bit of an upgrade. For example, the throws covering the old arm chairs, the kitchen utensils and big cupboard full of crockery, the mismatched cutlery, etc. We have absolutely no problem with this for family holiday home but when you’re paying similar prices to a hotel, it could be improved.
The cleanliness was ok, but there were spiderwebs in every room, including the bedrooms, and everything just felt it could do with a bit of TLC!
A second set of keys would have been much appreciated too.
