The living room was kinda cosy, there was air conditioning in the living room and in one bedroom, there were black out shades in the windows so we could sleep in. The washing machine was a big plus as I didnt have to bring a lot of clothes for kids. The location close to a train station a plus for us.
Well, I have very mixed feelings from the stay. The attitude of the owners was questionable, after everythings was confirmed for several weeks, I suddenly got to know a day before arrival we should pay for late check in (although confirmed before) and an additional fee for cleaning. I turned to booking.com helpline so we didnt pay any extra money for the check in but we did pay the cleaning without consent, the property simply took it from the deposit we paid in upon arrival (against no receipt, what was also stressful). Nobody came for our check out, we were advised to leave the key in and just close the door. The deposit was in the end transfered to my account (-€50 for the cleaning) but I had to remind myself and no one was responding at first. So I was in a lot of stress around the accomodation.
The property itself could use a lot od maintenance, some of the bulbs were not working, some doors would not close. One bedroom has no aircon, which is quite a con in the heat. The kitchen has a dishwasher but you cannot really use it as there is not enough dishes to use. Only 3 forks (we were 4), no cutting knife, only one bigger pot, so if you need to cook like we needed, there is painful logistics needed.
The white pull out bed that I planned to sleep on with my kids is broken, the two halves do not sticks together and we found out by my 2-year old falling in the hole in between 10 minutes after I put him to bed the first night. Quite unlpleasant.
The entrance is not exactly at the given address but from the terrace from the street around the corner, nobody mentioned that. Definitely not wheelchair accessible, several stairs there!
The terrace looks nice but we couldnt use it as both neighbors had dogs and, well, there was a lot of unpleasant smell as there is no rain in this time of year.
Did we have a good time here? Yes, but rather despite of than thanks to the accommodation. Would I come back here? Absolutely not.
