Modern good size detached apartment with fine views. Close enough to town to walk. Well equipped with facilities.

All fine. Nothing negative to report.

It was a little confusing upon arrival. We were never specifically instructed to walk in to the apartment, that it would be open with the key on the counter. We weren’t clear what to do or where to go when we got there. Once we connected, it was smooth sailing. Very attentive. There was a slight issue that was fixed almost immediately. It was roomy and had everything we needed!

Great location just outside of Westport (10/15 min walk) into main town but nice and quiet. With plenty of on site parking. Host very welcoming and was able to do early check in which was great.

It was very small, I have since read previous reviews and realise it states the size of rooms so is transparent but we were 2 adults (couple) with a baby and the room is pretty much just the double bed against the wall and so no room for the travel cot which had to be in the kitchen, which was first time baby has slept in a seperate room to us (5 months). Needed the extra room for the suitcases alone. It would have been fine as we were out exploring but it was £644 for 3 nights, which seems a lot for such a small space but I guess it was the height of summer.

The host was very friendly and communicated well in advance of our arrival. She greeted us when we arrived and gave us some good information about the area including a helpful map. The apartment was clean and they serviced it while we were there too. The beds were comfortable so we slept well.

Our only main complaint was that the space was smaller than we expected. I think our unit would be more suitable for a family with 2 adults and 2 young kids. We had 4 adults but both bedrooms had the beds pushed against one wall which did not show in one of the bedroom photos. And there was very little walking space so there was not much room for our luggage which was just a carry-on per person. The living area was also quite small but that was less of a surprise based on the apartement photos. There were not any power outlets by the sink nor at the bedroom mirrors so if you need to use a blow-dryer or similar hair appliance, the only option was to use the mirror in the living room. Not having power at the bathroom vanity seems to be typical in Ireland based on most places we stayed during our trip.
