Unfortunately it was a bad experience for us on this occasion

Location, hot tub, site and restaurant

Our recent long awaited break this year in the moody meadows lodge was not as expected unfortunately. The lodge itself is lovely and to a high standard but a bit on the snug side and especially the bathroom. The hot tub was lovely but not very private and relaxing space when you have people/dogs walking back and fore and children playing football in front and around the lodge and screaming and shouting for three days and especially with noisy rowdy neighbours children and (dog off lead wandering around in front of all the lodges) in two of the lodges next door to you not abiding to the camp site rules of quiet time between 10-8, they decided to stop at 1.45am first night and 12.30am second night, when we was trying to get to sleep and had a baby who would not settle, also on top of that waking up one morning to see our gate wide open and pizza and chip wrappers all over our patio table, strangers had obviously invaded our private space in the night and used our decking! Which resulted in making us nervous and anxious to go to sleep the next night and my daughter husband and young baby going home earlier than planned! It was our first time staying in the lodge and our last, we have stayed in the mootel on numerous occasions previously and we have enjoyed it and love the site, restaurant and staff, just a shame a lot of money to pay and not to enjoy your stay.
