The cottage is much larger downstairs than it might appear in the photos, and the living room was a wonderful space in which to relax and read or watch television while listening to the wind and rain outside against the windows (the sofa is also extremely comfortable).
Arriving and getting into the house was incredibly easy and straightforward (instructions on getting there left no room for error) and the property was in immaculate condition for us - we also appreciated having such staples provided like tea and coffee, milk, as well as soap and washing up liquid so we didn't immediately have to go out and buy some. The dishwasher also works really well and was a godsend which only enhanced our ability to relax. The fresh flowers and Cornish biscuits were very welcoming.
The location is also great, with the centre of St Just (and supermarket, shops and cafe) being only a couple of minutes walk away, and the surrounding area was very quiet so outside noise was minimal (mainly wind, rain and seagulls).
Parking on the street was not always very easy, depending on the time of day, and the upstairs toilet is very small to move around in for a larger man, but these are only minor quibbles - although there is a free car park nearby we never needed to use it, and the downstairs bathroom is very large and luxurious, with the bathtub being particularly good to relax in.
