The Lodge (Y Porthdy) was spotlessly clean, we loved the bread, milk and fresh eggs that were left for us upon arrival. We slept well as the beds were very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. My children were happy with extensive choice of channels on the tv, and loved watching the rabbits and pheasants on the lawn in the mornings.

What a wonderful little place! We travelled with our children for a busy few days at Ynys Môn and this was the perfect location to go back and relax in! Secluded, chilled out and cosy! We loved the animals, including the wild rabbits! We were lucky to have fantastic weather and a nice fan in the lodge to cool us down. It is so well equipped with all facilities you could want / need. We did have a rough thunderstorm at night and the hosts were so quick to check that we were ok. We also had a wonderful welcome pack of fresh eggs, milk, bread, water & Welsh cakes on arrival. How thoughtful! The wildlife here is amazing too. If you are looking for a cosy and comfy secluded break we definitely recommend. There are also some lovely pubs and shops just a short drive away. We even walked it one day! Hoping to return when we are up this way again.
