While Herning does not appear to be the place to go for a longer trip, this B&B is absolutely great.
We've stayed for 1 night after a short family visit halfway between the Netherlands and Sweden. We booked 2 rooms that share a kitchen and entrance, making it a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom appartement.
Check-in is very simple, with the owner coming over with an iPad and mobile device for card payment. Entry to the appartment and each room is through a 4-digit code supplied before arrival.
The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, clean, fairly quiet and can be sufficiently darkened. The shower is good and the beds are great, although slightly softer than average.
We'll be back when we come to visit our family again!

Kirsten og Jørgen er super venlige og imødekommende. Værelserne er fine og køkkenet hyggeligt og veludrustet. Der er alt, hvad man har brug for. Selvom stedet ligger lidt udenfor Herning, var det nemt at komme ind til Boxen med en taxa. Vi var gennemgående meget tilfredse.
