Lovely property close to shops and restaurants in Bowness. Windermere also close but longer walking distance than Bowness. The parking at the back is definitely not for low car, even my standard A180 Merc has struggled a bit. Keep persisting with the shower, it takes a little to “learn” how to use it, leave the bathtub hot water running through the taps, it will eventually kick in the main shower.
Felt the kitchen space was quite small and sometimes not very practical and an additional frying pan would have come in handy as cooking eggs and bacon for a family of 4 with just 1 takes some time / logistics, some of the food gets cold by the time the other is ready.
We did love our stay overall, that’s for sure. Also, keep going up on Biskey Howe (the road you turn left from to park at the back), keep your eyes open to the signs on the right hand side , you will find a little gem, amazing at sunset!
