Lovely, quiet cottage in the countryside. Very tranquil, ideal for a peaceful, away from it all, stay.
The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts were helpful and welcoming, thank you!
We loved looking out of the skylight at night at a sky full of stars and hearing the birdsong in the garden during the day.
In the local area there are a handful of restaurants/hotels for food within a 10 to 30 minute walk. The chateau of Chenonceau is easily walkable 30 mins away. Hot air ballooning (really recommend) is only 10 mins drive away. You can rent kayaks and bikes in the local area. Nearest big Supermarket and petrol station is 10 mins drive (Super U). Amboise is a pretty medieval town 20 mins by car with many restaurants to choose from.
Everything was lovely, and perhaps there isn't space, but an oven would have been great for nights eating in. There is a microwave and hob though, so no problem.
