Location Was Great, But We Would Not Stay Here Again.
The location was great. It is a quiet area that was close to several train stations and bus stops. There were also a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.
When we arrived we could not access the property. We tried calling the phone numbers that were provided- we were prompted through options only to be hung up on. We were told there was a key that we could use to enter. There was no key in the location we were provided. We were finally able to reach someone through Booking.com and were provided with the correct code to allow us to enter the property. So if you end up booking this property, make sure you use the information provided by Booking.Com and do not rely on direct communications from the owner. It took almost an hour to sort it out, which was not pleasant after a very long journey.
The property itself is a lot more dated and older than the photographs that are present on the website. For example, the walls look a little dingy and there wallpaper is off the wall in a few areas. The bathroom has visible mould in places along the walls and ceiling.
When we walked in the room appeared clean. When we opened up the sofabed, there was an old sock and dirty napkin under the cushions. Clearly the place was only superficially cleaned. It did not give us a good feeling. We did not use the sofa bed at all. It also appears that the floor was not cleaned. Our socks were very dirty after walking on the floor.
The room where the toilet is is very small, so if you are a tall person (over 6ft tall), you will have trouble sitting to use it. There is also something wrong with the toilet and it needs to be fixed. If you do not close the lid after use, you will eventually smell urine. It is very unpleasant. However, if you close the lid, you don't smell anything.
The bed and mattress were clean and comfortable. If it were not for the fact that we had already paid for this place and that we literally were only there to sleep and shower, we would have immediately found another place. We would not book this place again.
