We stayed in Bert’s Bungalow for 5 nights in June/July 2026. This was our first stay here and we would be very happy to come back to Saundersfoot and stay in Bert’s Bungalow again!
We very much enjoyed our stay in Bert’s Bungalow. The little house is cosy and well equipped. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable - the only slight awkwardness was it has a footboard, albeit a low one. If you are as tall as I am (6ft 5in/195cm) you may find that a bit awkward but I managed ok. Headroom throughout the house was very good (including the shower).
The house felt calm, cool and relaxed with a seaside vibe that was always welcome after a day out!
The house is in a very quiet cul de sac, surrounded by some very nice houses and gardens. There is a good footpath shaded by trees near the house that slopes down towards Saundersfoot village centre. It’s about a 15 minute walk and you come out near the seafront.
Saundersfoot itself is lovely. It has a big shallow golden sandy beach, a busy harbour for little boats and many quirky shops and good places to eat and drink. It is only a short drive from here to Tenby. There is a nice scenic coastal walk through some old railway tunnels to Wiseman’s Bridge nearby.
In Saundersfoot, we can heartily recommend Harbwr for good food and local beers brewed in Tenby. The Old Chemist is also good. Sip and Sea is excellent for the all day breakfast, morning coffees etc.

A lovely little place to stay which was comfortable and everything you need whilst staying away. Great location just over 10 mins walk to Saundersfoot( need a torch at night). Would stay again
