We had a wonderful stay at Stone Haven Zhangjiajie Homestay. The location was fantastic and made getting around incredibly easy. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. A big thank you to the team for making us feel so welcome. We would highly recommend Stone Haven to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie and would happily stay here again!

Where do I start?! This is quite possibly the BEST hotel we have ever stayed at in our lives. I’m 51 and started travelling the world at 17. Needless to say, we have stayed in quite a few hotels. We also are travel Vloggers meaning we move hotel every few days. This is the only one we have not wanted to leave. The staff are absolutely incredible. Sunny (who you will get to know) is such a knowledgeable, helpful and wonderful human being who will make your stay a massive success. She also speaks fantastic English. Every member of staff puts in 100% into their work and to you meaning you get taken care of the moment you walk in. Every single piece of this magnificent homestay has been meticulously thought out from the FREE beer, free water, free warm ginger drink in the lobby, free sweet potatoes cooking in a heated clay pot. The scenery from the most important places in the hotel is incredible and made easy to view by the use of large glass panels in the lobby and restaurant. There is robot delivery to your room, wonderful buffet breakfast, the coffee bar cave is so unique and beautiful. Our room was absolutely stunning with everything you could ever need and more made available to you. Comfortable beds, great AC, lovely linen bedding, perfect shower, the toilet is warmed and electric. Honestly I could go on and on about this homestay. We absolutely LOVED it and if you read this, you should book. You will not only not regret it, it will remain in your memory as one of the best places you have ever stayed in your life. ❤️❤️❤️

Das Personal war extrem hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sie haben uns mit der Orga aller Ausflüge unterstützt. Das Hotel liegt 5 min vom Haupteingang zum Park. Das Frühstück war super und jeden Tag abwechselnd. Sehr empfehlenswert

Außerordentlich hilfsbereites und sehr freundliches Personal. Das ist wirklich schwer zu toppen. Schönes Zimmer.

Leider enttäuschend und den hohen Preis nicht wert. Vorab wurden wir lediglich darüber informiert, dass die Tropfsteinhöhlenbahn aufgrund von Schäden durch starke Regenfälle nicht nutzbar sei. Vor Ort stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass auch der Poolbereich wegen ständiger Bau- und Flexarbeiten praktisch nicht benutzbar war und überall Geräte und Baumaterial herumstanden. Das angekündigte Fitnessstudio bestand lediglich aus einem Crosstrainer, einem Laufband und einer Hantelbank ohne Hanteln – ungeschützt auf dem Hoteldach und damit bei Regen oder großer Hitze kaum nutzbar. Wir hatten dieses deutlich teurere Hotel ganz bewusst wegen seiner Ausstattung gewählt. Vergleichbare Unterkünfte in unmittelbarer Umgebung wären wesentlich günstiger gewesen. Trotz unserer Beschwerde und der erheblichen Einschränkungen wurde uns keinerlei Ausgleich angeboten. Sehr schade und für uns insgesamt kein angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
