Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison située dans un environnement vraiment très plaisant, au calme, en pleine campagne dans le sud des Pouilles. Le cadre est très agréable et la piscine est un véritable atout : nous en avons bien profité et elle est très appréciable.
L’emplacement est également un point fort : de très belles plages sont accessibles en environ 15 à 20 minutes en voiture, et Santa Maria di Leuca se trouve à seulement 15 minutes en voiture. La maison permet donc de profiter facilement des paysages et des lieux incontournables de la région.
Maurizia, notre hôte, a été très gentille, accueillante et disponible. Son accueil et sa gentillesse ont contribué à rendre le séjour agréable.
En revanche, quelques points nous ont déçus. La maison est annoncée avec trois chambres, mais il n’y a en réalité que deux vraies chambres. La troisième « chambre » correspond à la salle à manger avec un canapé-lit, qui est très dur et peu confortable. Même pour une seule personne, il est difficile d’y dormir correctement. Cette description nous a semblé donc un peu trompeuse.
À l’intérieur, le mobilier, la vaisselle et certains équipements sont assez anciens et très basiques. Certains éléments sont même très usés, voire abîmés, ce qui donne une impression de manque d’entretien et ne correspond pas totalement au niveau attendu.
Concernant la caution de 150€, nous avons été surpris par son montant, qui nous semble peu justifié au regard de l’état général du mobilier et des équipements : il y a finalement peu de choses susceptibles d’être détériorées dans la maison.
Enfin, au moment du départ, nous avons été étonnés que Maurizia nous demande un RIB afin de restituer la caution par virement, alors que celle-ci avait été versée en espèces à notre arrivée. Après discussion, nous avons dû insister pour pouvoir récupérer la caution en espèces, comme cela nous semblait plus logique.

Idéal pour naviguer aux alentours et proche de la plage de Torre Vado
Manque la WI FI
Des verres à pieds pour boire du Bonn ou faire un Spritz
Climatiseur très bruyant , si on la coupe on a chaud
Présence de caméras sur la terrasse on ne sait pas si nous sommes surveillés c’est très désagréable

The outdoor Pool, showers, garden and outdoor patio areas are great and pristinely maintained and cleaned daily.
Beds are comfortable. Windows have anti-mosquito nets.
Washing machine in bathroom works well and is very useful when traveling with children!
The host Maurizia is very friendly and provided quick responses.
The bungalows are not equipped with the basics that one may expect.
No soap in bathroom, no dishwashing liquid, no suitable rubbish bins for the 5 recycling containers, no anti-mosquito plugs. Kitchen is equipped minimalistic and there is no olive oil, sugar, pepper, coffee, etc.
Especially when traveling with kids and for short stays, it is cumbersome to have to spend valuable holiday time to buy essentials, which most other places provide. The DOK supermarket close by is expensive, so it is advisable to shop at a Coop or Conad in Casarano, before arriving here.
To our surprise, the beds were not made. We arrived late with 2 children and a baby, and had to put on the clean bedsheets ourselves. This is not common practice and was not communicated to us. It would be helpful to inform this in advance.
Despite the windows having nets, there are many mosquitos every evening and they manage to come inside. Therefore electric plugs are highly recommended!
The host thankfully provided us with 1 anti-mosquito plug one day after our arrival. However, we recommend minimum 2 plugs and to have these available for future guests.
