The owner let us check-in a few hours before the original time, which was really kind and convenient. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, the bedding was really nice. The bus stop is also in front of the property, which makes it convenient to travel from and to the hotel.
Keep in mind there's a pub downstairs so you may hear some noise until 11PM. The location is also a 25-minute walk from the centre, which needs to be taken account if the bus schedule isn't convenient for you. Other than that, it was perfect.

Very clean and fresh. You can tell Char takes pride in her establishment. Bus to city centre literally outside hotel and one 15 minute ride to city centre and train station

Location just a short bus ride from city centre.
Cafes and other shops walking distance of hotel.
Great English pub. We had the garden room which was spacious and comfortable. Would have liked to have stayed longer!
