A great location right in the heart of the medieval centre of Le mans. Built on the old city wall, the base of which is Roman, with a wine cellar complete with an arrow slit! It is a very old house, but has been nicely done inside, with great showers and plenty of space. We were met by Amine, from the Le mans conciergerie, who was very welcoming and showed us the whole place, left us with a phone number in case of any problems.

L'emplacement et la souplesse pour l'entrée dans les lieux..
Une lampe cassée dans la chambre et un lit bébé dangereux car avec des barreaux trop bas. Notre petit garçon de 15 mois est facilement passé par dessus.

We are a family of five with three children and absolutely loved our stay at Le Plantagenet. The house is beautiful, spacious and full of character, and staying in an ancient house right in the Cité Plantagenêt felt genuinely magical for the children too. Exploring the medieval streets in the evening was such a special start to our holiday.
Parking was also much easier than we'd expected. We were travelling in a large van and had been worried about height restrictions, but there was ample, secure, open-air parking nearby and it was completely free. The instructions for unloading at the property and walking back from the car park were really helpful.
We only stayed for one night as a stopover but wished we'd booked longer. A really memorable place to stay — we'd happily return.

Les équipements de la cuisine un peu juste pour le nombre de personnes pouvant être accueillies dans la maison
Nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude mais n'ayant réservé qu'une nuit c'était compliqué de faire intervenir quelqu'un donc nous nous sommes douchés a l'eau froide
