The hosts Sergio and Jana could not have been nicer, I repeat they could not have been nicer. Every conversation with them reminded us why we love to travel. By the time we left we felt we were leaving good friends The facility has so much history and our room had been renovated so carefully with the traveler in mind. Our room was very spacious. With its own balcony, looking out at beautiful Poschiavo and distant mountains. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of options. It is located steps away from the train station. Which for us was great. And only a short walk to the main square. And as a bonus Al Crott has its own restaurant which should not be missed. The food was prepared beautifully. Visiting here was one of the highlights of trip.

Die Hotelzimmer, das Restaurant und die Bar befinden sich in einer alten Brauerei, die nach und nach umgebaut wird. Im Haus ist Geschichte spürbar. Neue, sorgfältig renovierte Säle und Zimmer (Hotelzimmer) wechseln sich mit noch unrenovierten (aber top sauberen und liebevoll eingerichteten) Räumen wie zum Beispiel der Bibliothek (ein Hingucker!) ab. Die Besitzerfamilie lebt Willkommenskultur und es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren in einem grosszügig bemessenen Zimmer untergebracht; das Bett und das Bad waren top! Alles sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist optimal gelungen, Altes mit Neuem zu verbinden. Ein echtes Schmuckstück zum Wohlfühlen!
Das Hotel liegt nur ein paar Schritte vom Bahnhof entfernt und ist vor allem für ÖV-Fans ein Geheimtipp, denn es liegt an der Panorama-Bahnstrecke.
Im Hauseigenen Restaurant haben wir wunderbar gegessen. Sehr gute Küche!
Wir jammern auf hohem Niveau: Bis zu unserem Zimmer gab es einige Treppen (Ich war mit Stöcken unterwegs, darum etwas mühsam). Uns wurde aber mit dem Gepäck geholfen. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle.

Beautifully restored old brewery, generously sized comfortable rooms with views to the valley, great food and above all the owners were unfailingly charming and helpful. Very handily located for the train station and a short stroll to the village centre. Wished we could have stayed longer!
