We loved our stay at Mandria Gardens.

This was a great stay. The style and equipment were fantastic. The beds were so comfortable!! We particularly liked the TV/lounge set up with Netflix and other apps on large TV. Nice and quiet area.

Communal stairs etc requires more cleaning but this was a minor issue.

WONDERFUL APARTMENT – TERRIBLE SERVICE

I rarely leave negative reviews – as my profile shows, I prefer to highlight positive experiences. When I encounter poor service, I usually just don’t return. However, this will be my first 3-star review, based purely on the frustration caused by very poor service. As an apartment alone, it’s excellent: high-end, spotless, modern, and well-stocked. Thoughtful touches like two bottles of wine and a box of Turkish delight were much appreciated. The air conditioning worked well, the swimming pool was lovely, the wrap-around balcony was a bonus, and the WiFi was reliable. Unfortunately, two serious issues were handled very poorly: 1. Broken toilet – It stopped flushing due to a broken stopcock. We reported this, but were told that because it was Sunday, nothing could be done until Monday. This left us without a working toilet for 24 hours. 2. Complete power blackout – At 10pm, the entire apartment lost power, leaving our family of four in total darkness. With no emergency phone number (only an unanswered email), we eventually got a reply through Booking.com messages around 11pm, telling us to go to the main building’s service cupboard to look for switches. We requested an emergency call-out, but were told, “We are resting, we will come tomorrow.” Faced with children uncomfortable in the heat and no air conditioning, we were preparing to leave for another hotel when I managed to locate the server room myself and restore the power. I informed them of this and requested an apology. The following morning, at 10:30am, we received only a “Thank you for your patience” – no apology, no acknowledgement, and no compensation. In conclusion: This is a 5-star apartment let down by poor service. Without an emergency contact number and with such a lack of concern for guests’ wellbeing, the experience was far more stressful than it should have been.
