We had a great stay in Minoo and cannot recommend Meitokuan more to anyone looking a little respite and rejuvenation. The Ryokan is located halfway up to the Minoo falls and is a treasure for anyone looking for a traditional Ryokan. The staff were wonderful and I cannot be more grateful their hospitality. They even helped drive us back down to the station. Breakfast was super great- a mixture of delicious dishes. The inn also provided a wonderful welcome matcha. We stayed in the garden family room, and I think the photos will speak for themselves. It is a one of a kind experience. It was my partners first time sleeping on a futon and he found it very fluffy and comfortable! Thank you to everyone at Meitokuan!

Le lieu est tout simplement, magnifique, très bien placé, et le personnel était vraiment adorable et attentionné.

Everything was perfect! The location is charming, the building itself is so beautiful, expecially the little central garden. The staff was very friendly and helped us with any requests we had. We got lucky and even saw some fireflies on the river right next to the ryokan!
