About this apartment rental
Cozy 44 square meters apartment in the 2nd Floor of a town house on the edge of Dresden. The house is conveniently located, so you can easily walk to the city center of Dresden by tram or bus. Shops are within walking distance.
The apartment consists of: bathroom with shower and toilet, living-bedroom with 1 double bed, the living room with TV connects to the fully equipped kitchen. Guests also have Internet access via Wifi. Pets are not allowed. We are an absolute non-smoking house. Unfortunately, all good reviews from WIMDU are deleted.
For the price plus the valid from the city accommodation tax, to inquire with me and to settle on the spot.

If I could give more than 5 stars to this property I would--on everything except the accuracy of the property description because it was so much *better* than we expected, based on the listed square footage (okay, meters). We worried it would feel cramped, and it absolutely did not! EVERYthing we could want was included too: An electric tea kettle and not only a tea pot but a whole damned tea set! Hooks in the bathroom! Plenty of hangers in the armoire. Windows that opened to let in the sound of birdsong! One night I looked out a window to see the Big Dipper hanging right in front of me. The bed was comfortable. There was a well-positioned reading light above the very comfortable couch. We didn't use the tv, radio, or dishwasher, but based on everything else, I assume those all work well. I was worried there wouldn't be space in the bathroom for toiletries, but there was plenty of shelf space (not shown in any of the photos). It's all tastefully decorated, too. None of that "life's a beach" signage that you get in some rentals: there were a few tasteful knickknacks and many useful baskets. It truly felt like we were out in the country, but the nearest bus stop was just up the street with a tram shop just a few blocks away. It was also close to grocery stores, a flower shop, and some restaurants--even an ice cream stand! The owner does not speak much English so it was good that my husband speaks some German, but I think we would have managed even had that not been the case.

Great place, I definitely recommend it! Very clean and stylish, has everything you need, looks better than in the pictures. Very friendly host. The location is great as well. Bus stop is right next to it, tram stop is 7mins walk, Netto grocery store is 5 mins walk.

We had bikes so it was easy to get to the city - only about a 10 minutes slightly down hill ride. Returning required slightly more effort but easily doable. The place was quite compact, very quiet and very clean. Shower good. Dishwasher a bonus. During August it was really hot but as we were out the entire day we kept all windows closed to keep out the heat and on arriving back opened all windows to let the draft cool down the place. Supermarket a few minutes walk away and closes at 21:00. We had some small bike issues but as Frank has a bike shop it was perfect and he could help us out so we didn’t lose any time. The only issue was the internet was very weak so do be prepared to have data package sorted out first. As we also had to work in the evening we were already prepared but this could be expensive if you are unprepared for roaming charges. Would still return.
