Overall this was a great house with location being the best part. It’s in a gated community and the homes are spread out so you’re in your own tropical oasis. We saw a family of white faced monkeys and there were 2 iguanas that hung out by the pool. The management company was very responsive when we had issues. But the house is in need of some TLC. Kitchen cabinet doors are pretty beat up. The coffee maker doesn’t work well. The interior doors have keyed locks with no keys. We got locked out of a bathroom and had to wait for someone to come pry it open. Also the jacuzzi in the main bedroom was out of order with a laminated sign above it so I imagine it’s been like that for awhile. One other issue is that it’s listed as 4 bedrooms. The 4th bedroom is a TV/sitting room with a pull out sofa. Also the bed in the main room is pretty hard and there weren’t extra blankets other than the bedcover. I would still recommend the house due to the location and management company.

My husband, sister and I stayed for a month, mid February to mid March. The home was much nicer then even the photos showed.
Large, comfortable with good A/C. Well stocked kitchen and BBQ grill was nice. The pool and grounds were exceptional. So many birds, monkeys, blue butterflies etc.
The road up to the property was a little rough but we managed with a sedan. Recommend a 4x4 though especially if you want to travel off the main roads.
It was the dry season so were asked to conserve water (not really a hardship). The property does not have drinkable water but we easily were able to refill the jugs in town. We were provided a full 5g jug upon our arrival and a nice bottle of wine.
Any issues that arose were immediately dealt with by the property manager. The home owner was super helpful and arranged for starlink satellite hook up while we were there so had unlimited high speed internet.
We wish we could have stayed longer. The area felt safe and there are 24 hour guards at the entrance. About a 10 minute drive to the beach. Lots to see and do in Esterillos and nearby communities.
Highly recommend this property.

Nice and clean, the guy in charge is nice and gently, a little bit of maintenance in the kitchen is need, but is a nice and peace place.
