The villa is set in the picturesque and peaceful village Podgora, just a 5-minute drive from the beaches and the town.

Within just a 5-minute drive, you can reach crystal-clear beaches, charming local restaurants, bars and shops.
For those who enjoy walking, there is also scenic 20-minute path through olive groves that leads to the town.
Please note the way back is uphill, so comfortable sports shoes are recommended.
Only 5 minutes drive to Biokovo National Park, the mountain that rises right out of the sea, with its peaks and lookout points that afford unforgettable panoramic views onto the Makarska Riviera and the area around Biokovo.
12 minutes drive to Makarska, a city of more than 15 thousand inhabitants that encompasses picturesque villages at the foot of the Biokovo Mountain. There is a ferry line which runs from Makarska to Sumartin on the island Brac.
There are plenty of activities within the region including white water rafting at the River Cetina near Omis and other water based activities.
The property is 2 and a half hour drive to Dubrovnik and 1 hour drive to Split.

Beautiful Property, wanted for nothing.Tastefully decorated and beautifully clean. Screens on the windows so you could have the windows open rather than the air-con on. Fabulous views over the town and on to the Sea. Pool was very welcome when the temperature rose to over 30. The road to it was character building, but worth the effort. The walk to town was about 40 minutes, and a little longer on the way back due to it being all uphill. But definitely doable. (I'm 67 and I did it!) Excellent communication with Vladimir, always responded to any query very quickly, before and during our stay. Great hosts.

Our stay at the villa was a blissfully peaceful retreat. We awoke to stunning views and surroundings we weren't expecting. We enjoyed being able to walk along hiking tracks right on our doorstep. Evening walks and the light quality at that time was truly memorable. Inside the villa we had everything we could possibly need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The beds were heavenly as were the showers!! Outside the pool area was fabulous for soaking up the sun all day, but with poolside umbrellas for shade when needed. The sofa area outside was also a great place to relax, have breakfast etc. As for sunsets; the upstairs balcony was the perfect spot for watching the event over a game of Scrabble. We had a lovely holiday and our hosts Danijela & Vlado could not have been more helpful and welcoming.

We had a wonderful time staying at Villa Vedran. It is beautifully presented, with modern, stylish and tasteful interiors, fully equipped with everything required to make our stay comfortable both inside and out. The beds and pillows were really comfy, the bathrooms were gorgeous and the whole villa was spotlessly clean. Communication with Vlado was easy and he responded very promptly to all our queries and gave us some really useful tip/recommendations about things to do and where to eat etc. The villa is situated on a steep hillside which means the views down to the resort of Podgora and across to the islands of Hvar and Brac are stunning. Given the location I would say that car hire is essential. Vlado and Danijela were excellent hosts, checking in with us from time to time during our stay and nothing was too much trouble. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.
