About this house rental

Cleverly designed to capture the cool sea breeze, Pandanus Retreat boasts numerous, flexible indoor and outdoor living spaces. Wander out onto the treetop deck for your morning coffee, rinse off sea-salt under the open-air hot/cold pebble shower, or laze in the sun-drenched, north-facing garden.
Inside, you’ll find room for everyone to unwind. Three spacious bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen), each with its own ensuite, offer privacy and peace. Gather in one of the two welcoming living areas, share meals from the fully equipped kitchen, soak in the full-sized bath, or simply stretch out beneath the slow-turning ceiling fans and let time slip away. The house is also equipped with a Nespresso Pod coffee machine.
Just a short stroll to beaches, the Gorge Walk, and the famous Straddie marine life, its central location places you within easy striking distance of shops, cafes and public transport – and surrounds you with Kookaburra calls, Kangaroos and Curlews.

My daughters and I had a wonderful relaxing stay at Pandanas Retreat the house suited us perfectly with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms easy walk to great coffee in the morning, we didn't want to leave!

This holiday home is the best beach holiday retreat I’ve ever experienced. I booked this retreat for my family (for the first time, I assumed there would be air con, but after payment I realised this wasn’t the case). My mistake was a blessing in disguise because this place was just perfect. The downstairs area was great for getting sand off with the outdoor shower and hose. Downstairs was perfect for my brother and his girlfriend to have their own space with bathroom and living room. This allowed my partner and I, and my mum, to share upstairs. The private ensuites were a luxury for all of us. The open air design was beautifully refreshing! Great, big table for games and meals too, as well as a nice upstairs patio. Great spot overall!

Handy location; the amenities were great. Perfect design for three adult couples with bathroom for each three bedrooms. Loved the island decor, spaciousness and room for lunch visitors. As another reviewer said, it’d be good to get rid of the large weed tree out front and trim the growth in general. Some furniture getting tired. Wildlife wonderful - koala up the corner, curfews and kangaroos in the street.

Great location & an interestingly designed house. Could hear the ocean which was wonderful. Lovely upstairs deck area. However the upstairs lounge furniture was old and uncomfortable, two v small TV’s, v little bench space in the kitchen and the barbecue was dirty. The bedrooms/bathrooms were great however mattresses need replacing as they dip in the middle. Not sure I would want to stay there in winter given large areas with fly screens (or none) and no shutters to shut out the wind/breezes. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean.
