Our first trip to Greece was incredible, thanks in no small part to this rental. The house was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable but its location and views of the sea are the best parts. The infinity pool overlooking the sea and the beach tidepools were the perfect way to relax. A car is necessary to get to the property and explore the surrounding area, but you'll likely find reasons to stay in and enjoy the property.Marios is an excellent host, meeting us at the house for check in to show us around. He also provided a number of recommendations for grocery stores and things to do in the surrounding area. Rent this house, and eat some seafood in Lavrio -- you won't be disappointed!

What a fabulous villa with the most spectacular views. The pool area is particularly gorgeous with 3 of the bedrooms having doors which open directly to the patio.It is an upside down villa with the living areas on the upper level. We particularly liked the sun room and terrace on this level.The spiral staircase was awkward to negotiate if carrying something, but an easier alternative was to go around the outside. There are many steps, also from the road to the front door, so not suitable for those with restricted mobility.You need a car, but there are plenty of shops and restaurants in nearby Laurium. This was a lovely town with an authentic Greek feel.We drove into Athens as well as to Delphi and thoroughly enjoyed the sites.This is a good base, handy for the airport.A couple of the bathrooms are a little tired, but this in no ways compromised our enjoyment of the property.Marios is a fabulous host. Nothing was too much trouble, and he gave plenty of recommendations for eating places, parking in Athens etc.

We have a wonderful stay at the villa, the views are fabulous, it’s a sweet town about an hour from Athens. There is a corner store not too far for some supplies coffee etc and the marina is about a 15min drive with shops and restaurants and lovely views on the harbour. The villa is a lovely place to relax with lots of room for a large group, pool is beautiful. Suggest having a rental car for sure, lovely beaches in the area as well. Easy drive to Athens as well.
