Welcome to Hunter Cove Cabin #3, a cozy lakeside getaway tucked into the Hunter Cove Cabins Community on the shores of beautiful Rangeley Lake! One of just eight cabins sharing over 500 feet of lake frontage, this charming retreat offers a classic Rangeley experience with gorgeous views across the water. Step outside to enjoy the large shared lawn leading down to the lake, your own dock slip, and plenty of space to relax and take in the scenery.
Inside, the cabin offers a comfortable living room centered around a wood stove, perfect for cozy evenings after a day of exploring the Rangeley Lakes Region. The screened porch is a favorite spot for morning coffee, an afternoon book, or an evening spent listening to the sounds of the lake. A charcoal grill is also provided, making it easy to enjoy relaxed outdoor meals during your stay.
With shared waterfront, a shared dock, and other outdoor amenities, Hunter Cove Cabin #3 is a wonderful choice for guests looking for a peaceful lakeside escape with a little community atmosphere. Spend your days swimming, boating, relaxing by the water, or exploring the area, then head back to the cabin to unwind. And when winter arrives, you'll be conveniently located near Saddleback Mountain for days filled with skiing and snowboarding!

FAQs: Docks do not go in until late June! There is NO snowmobile access from this location! There is no room to park snowmobile trailers. Guests have access to boat slip. No launching boats from the Hunter Cove cabins. There is no dishwasher! Charcoal grill available mid-May through mid-October. Living room woodstove available for guest use. Parking for 1 vehicle. No pets. No smoking.

It was great to be in beautiful Hunter Cove again! Cabin 1 is lovely and has everything one would need for a pleasant stay. The bed is sooo comfortable!

Wonderful cabin accommodations. Huge communal yard and beautiful lakefront. Very well maintained.
Suggestion: Need wire brush to clean the grill
Need a GOOD pair of Long tongs for BBQ. Could also use basting brush.
You also might want to consider adding cellular blinds in the bathroom and the bedrooms. No real way to have a fan sitting in the window and close the drapes for privacy. It doesn't work.

Wow is all we have. This lovely cabin has the views, water, nature and all the relaxing items you need to make a great trip. We will be back.

We enjoyed another great 2 weeks in Cabin 3. This year was our 24th at Hunter Cove and we're looking forward to 25 next year. Morton Furbish staff was excellent in responding to our requests for additional towels and other supplies.
We appreciate the upgrades such as the new futon and bed! However, we want to report that the freezer was a problem again this year. It was completely frozen over when we arrived with thick ice preventing the door from closing. The ice continued to build throughout our stay until it reached a stage when the refrigerator door would not completely close. At this point, my husband did his best to remove some ice which created quite a mess to clean up on the floor.
As we said, this has been an ongoing problem each year especially when the freezer isn't defrosted between rentals. We appreciate this opportunity to report our experience.
