About this house rental
Villa Parthenope, a 17th-century villa, has been recently renovated with care and tastefully decorated. It perches in a peaceful and quiet spot, yet is centrally located in Positano. Hospitality is offered in a pleasant apartment, Casa Leucosia, on the ground floor down about 30 steps from the road.
The apartment is independent and allows privacy. One of the great advantages of the villa is that a car is not required. The apartment is located a 5-minute walk uphill from the celebrated chic boutiques, restaurants and bars of Positano. Fifteen minutes walk downhill takes the visitor to the main beach.
Casa Leucosia (sleeps 4) has an entrance leading into the large living/dining room, which is furnished in a charming style with white-washed walls, terra cotta tiled floors, wooden table and chairs, comfortable sofa, air conditioning, WiFi, TV LCD and 2 French windows opening onto the balcony, which runs the length of the apartment and faces a truly picture-perfect view of the sea and Positano. The kitchen is cheerful, compact and efficient, with refrigerator, stove with 3 gas burners, oven and microwave oven. There is a separate powder room with washing machine. The upper level (10 steps) has 2 double bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, each with en suite bathroom (both with shower).
Another great advantage of Casa Leucosia: private stairs which, through the garden, lead directly to the beach in less than 5 minutes.

The apartment is a fantastic option in Positano. The location and views are incredible. It is close enough to the port to be convenient yet just far enough to get away from some of the crowds. We also found that we did not have to climb nearly as many stairs as we expected. There is shopping and small food stores very close. It was very easy to grab some small bites and wine and enjoy the views from the balcony!There were just two of us staying so the place had plenty of room. We used the second bedroom for all our stuff leaving our bedroom clear. Two couples could share though. One room has an attached bath while the other room has a bath just outside. Know that there is a window in one shower which was a little different. We figured out that there wasn’t any views where you would be able see in, but maybe not shower at night. Also keep in mind this is Europe, the showers are small compared to what you find in America. Embrace it. There is a bathroom with a washer. The kitchen is small but functional. We did not cook at all but we could have fixed whatever we wanted. The refrigerator was all we needed. Air conditioner worked well. Shutters on the balcony doors also keep the place cool when you are out. Shout out to Maria and Rosella. They made check in/out easy and were available via WhatsApp. Rosella gave us all kinds of local recommendations and helped arrange reservations and a car service. Thank you ladies!Book this place. Our stay at this apartment in Positano was absolutely incredible! The location could not have been better—right in the heart of town and within walking distance of everything. One of the highlights was the private walkway leading directly to the main beach, which made exploring Positano so convenient and enjoyable.The property itself was beautiful, especially the charming garden filled with lemon trees. Being able to pick fresh lemons straight from the trees was such a special touch and made the experience feel authentically Italian.There were grocery stores, cafés, and excellent restaurants just steps away, making it easy to enjoy everything Positano has to offer without needing transportation.From the stunning surroundings to the unbeatable location and thoughtful amenities, every part of our stay exceeded expectations. It was truly an amazing experience, and we would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Positano. We can’t wait to return!

Maria, the manager, is a living angel. I had a severe GI episode and called Maria simply to see if she had a preference for a hospital. She said she would call me back. She called around, found a Dr. that would see me after hours and then drove me there. I now call her, “Maria Angelica”! The unit is in the best neighborhood, everything is close and it is very clean.

My wife and I and our two teenage children just returned from a wonderful stay at this home in Positano. The apartment was divided between a living area, small kitchen, and half bath downstairs, and two nice sized bedrooms and full baths up. It was not luxurious, but comfortable and well suited for our family. There was a lovely terrace with chairs and a table overlooking the town and out to sea. The WiFi service was seamless and the location next to Le Sireneuse Hotel could not be beat. A private path with a five minute walk led down to the beach and restaurants. There were banks and small shops within about a five minute walk down the upper street. Communication with the hosts was excellent, and the local representative Maria kindly organized several car trips for us. We look forward to a return visit!
