Private entrance, a private lanai with a view straight to the pool makes this a quiet, relaxing place to explore all Maui has to offer. You never will feel like your crowded here. 54 units share all the grounds and amenities, so you may have the pool to yourself. It is all about comfort and convenience. Let the kids play tennis or ping-pong while you grill the fresh fish on the grill at the cabana complete with free wi-fi as well so the kids can connect with games and you can down load e-mail while dinner cooks. Let the trade winds gentle breezes lull you to sleep in your choice of King, Queen or one of the two twin beds. Soak those tired muscles from the day of ocean kayaking in the hot tub while the kids play in the heated pool, while the plumeria blooms and pinwheel past you. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was convenient, and the amenities provided made our stay enjoyable and stress-free. The host was responsive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Just great. Sparkling clean, fully equipped kitchen and any beach items you can possibly think of. Debbie was a great host, super nice and responsive. The resort facilities are also great, with a nice pool, tennis court, grilling area, shuffleboard, etc. The place was absolutely perfect for a family of four.Debbie was a great host, helpful and responsive even from a different time zone.Only downside is you do hear footsteps from upstairs and it can get annoying, but it was never a big deal at all.Fully recommend, would come back tomorrow if I could.

My family of 4 stayed here for 9 nights and it was absolute perfection! The unit was clean, organized, and had everything we needed for our stay! The host, Debbie, was phenomenal with communication; especially checking in on us as bad weather was coming our way. This is our second time staying at the Koa, our first with this unit-and we’ll definitely stay here again! The pool, grounds, and tennis/ping pong were so fun to have access to! Overall, the best trip ever!

Had a wonderful stay at Koa Resort - great location in Kihei steps away from the beach and whale sanctuary, a great spot to see turtles sunning. Amenities were great: pickleball/tennis courts, clean grills, and the best pool on the island - big and never busy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Shower was large and plenty of warm water. Our boys loved spotting lizards and all the birds and chickens roaming the property. Debbie was super helpful and responsive - wouldn't stay anywhere else!
