This was an exceptional find. Finding the place was a little tricky, but Kathleen was waiting for us as we pulled up and graciously gave us a wonderful tour of this historic site. Her husband, Phillipe, later gave us a tour of the castle ruins that was a highlight of our trip! Wonderful for larger families and a great launching point for Lisieux attractions and even Caen and the Normandy coast sites. We'll be recommending this to many of our American friends!

The place is much more beautiful than what the photos show. For those seeking an authentic place, this is the real deal. Owners are an American lady and her French husband. Super kind, available, and helpful. We had children, grandparents all staying together during the coldest season. But we were never cold ! 2 big ancient fireplaces, nature immediately outdoors, walks in the country roads, animals, fully-equipped kitchen. 15 - 20 min. drive to Honfleur + lots of beautiful nearby villages to explore. We will return again !
