Just returned from our 4 night stay in Ambleside and we're so glad to have stayed at Netherbeck. My family group of 6 had a great time in this vibrant Lakes town which was made so much better with such fantastic accommodation.
Netherbeck is clean, modern and thoughtfully prepared for its visitors with all facilities and utilities you could want. 3x Good sized bedrooms which were very well furnished to make unpacking worthwhile, a bathroom on every floor, a comfortable lounge for relaxing after a hard days walking/eating/drinking, a spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchen and a great big family sized table to all get around together and have a meal.
Perfectly located right in the center of town with everything to do within a 5min walk or less.
Some reviews suggest it was noisy being located behind the Tap Yard but that was not our experience, it was peaceful and quiet. We parked on the central carpark as the street was busy but the parking permit is available if you can get a space.
For sure, Netherbeck will be top of my list for a return visit, sometime soon i hope.
