About this house rental
The Friends and Family Farmhouse is centrally located between Canandaigua, Geneva and Penn Yan in the beautiful Finger Lakes area. This farmhouse has been totally remodeled in a modern farmhouse style. This is not a waterfront property.

Irene,I wanted to follow up on our stay at Friends and Family Farmhouse for my daughter’s graduation from HWS. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the property and we made many memories there. The backyard was such a nice a setting that we decided to have a family photo shoot there rather than a previously scheduled location.You thought of everything with the amenities and I’m pretty sure we took advantage of everything the property had to offer.You asked for feedback on any improvements. Here are just a few:- The HVAC system was inconsistent in cooling the upstairs and now we’re thinking the system might have been programmed to turn the AC off overnight. We should have asked about it early on, so suggesting this be addressed with future guests visiting the farmhouse over the summer.- The bed in the upstairs hallway could use a box spring or bunk board as the mattress on the bed slats was uncomfortable for an adult.- Also, we did quite a bit of food preparation and while the kitchen was well stocked, a set of sharp knives would be a good addition. (We did replace a broken can opener)We did our best to leave the farmhouse as we found it and hope you found it that way.Thanks again for everything. We would definitely recommend the farmhouse to friends and family visiting the Finger Lakes Region.

The house has everything you need! It is very clean & the beds are very comfortable. The house was perfect for our mom’s getaway but would be great for a family.

Our stay was great. The house is setup with everything you could need storm towels for the hot tub to kitchen utensils and appliances. Beds were very comfy and the couch setups are great for hanging out / group gatherings. The hosts are very nice and welcoming.
