The place is amazing, Hector and his crew are top notch. Everything we needed and more all through the day. The power did go out for a whole day and two of the air conditioners died, but Hector gave us one out of his own house and then worked with a technician into late into the night to make sure we were comfortable. The view is amazing, the sound of the surf is incredible, the kids never came out of the pool. We will definitely stay here again if they get that air conditioner thing fixed!

Celebrated my birthday here with 6 other adults. Felt like paradise! The house and pool are awesome! Cannot beat the ocean view. The food and drinks were delicious! Our every need was met - including kayaking on an awesome lake and hearing the blues at Fresh. The location is about 30 minute car ride outside of town so plan on needing transportation if you want to go into town. The beach in front of the house has rough waves but there are other more calm beaches in town for beach sand relaxation if that is what you want. Highly recommend! Plan on visiting again.

Hard to summarize our stay in a short review - it was simply amazing! We were a group of 14 people, staying at Luis' place for 4 nights. We couldn't have wished for a better experience. The house is purely magical with a massive community area that boosts a large dining table to seat the entire group, a couch area to chill as well as the kitchen from where the staff serves food and freshly made cocktails. Rooms are very generous. Words can't describe the amazing staff there: the food prepared by the chef is delicious and fresh, cocktails are tasty and creative and all members of the staff are so nice and discrete. The pool is large and allows swimming as well as simply hanging out with a cocktail. The best part of our stay, though, was having Luis at our disposition. His help goes waaay beyond everything a regular property manager would do: He was extremly fast and helpful in booking transportations and extra activities. He negotiated discounted prices for us. And he even gave us honest recommendations on what things might not be worth doing. Simply put, his role was somewhere between a highly professional concierge and a local friend. All in all: one of the most memorable stay of my entire life-time. (And probably also the longest review I have ever written). in short: book your stay at Castillo Encantado! We are already looking at possible dates of our next stay.
