About this villa rental
Detached country house finely restored, with private parking, private pool, large garden and sundeck; possibility to book dinners to taste typical Tuscan dishes in a large gazebo adjacent to the pool; it is also possible to use the wood-burning oven and the external barbecue. The location of the house, makes it unique for the short distances that connect it to nearby places of interest including:
• Monteriggioni Castle (3min drive)
• City of Siena (12 Km)
• San Gimignano, the city of the Towers (20km)
• Florence, cradle of the Renaissance (60 Km)
• Chianti hills, famous for the vineyards from which you get a wine known all over the world (10km)
The house is divided as follows:
1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom
1 double bedroom plus a single bed and an en suite bathroom
1 laundry
1 lounge and open plan kitchen with TV and fireplace
1 hot outdoor shower
Direct access to the swimming pool from the kitchen

You couldn’t beat the location, very central to other towns and easy to find. Hosts were so nice and kind and very helpful. It was really nice to come back to the pool after a day of exploring. The whole property was immaculate. We would definitely come back!

A fabulous location to spend time in Tuscany. Gianni & Co made our experience so easy and welcoming. We were met by Paola who lives on the estate and through google translate we were able to set up the intricacies of our stay there. Make sure to partake in the dinner offered by the villa, Paola made the most incredible meal for us as we sipped wine and gorged ourselves on her amazing cooking. Be warned: the meal is huge! The pool was an amazing addition to our stay, a refreshing relief to the hot sun. We used this location as a base camp for day trips to Florence, Siena and Monteriggioni as it had easy access to trains and local sights. The estate is located in a small industrial area so there is a minimal amount of noise during the day, but the clever hedging and gating makes you feel completely removed from it. WiFi can be spotty so make sure to bring a speaker for music. Communication was fabulous and all minor issues were dealt with immediately. Highly recommend this rental for a wonderful, thoughtful and relaxing Tuscan experience.

This was a wonderful stay for my wife and I in Tuscany. Paola and Gianfranco were there to welcome us at the time we said we would arrive, and showed us all of the details of the accommodation. It was well equipped and very comfortable, and the automatic gates to the garden made the accommodation and covered parking very secure. Although we did not speak the same language Gianfranco helped us with a map of his recommended tourist routes and towns. We would highly recommend this rental and would not hesitate to stay here again. Ciao

Being a VRBO property owner, I am sensitive about good ratings. However, I am not happy to be giving a 3-star review on a property that had received so many positive reviews; I had very high expectations and chose this property based on the many positive reviews. First, I will begin with positive comments: (1) central location to the many walled towns in Tuscany-one of the main reasons we chose this property; (2) the villa is attractive, clean, and mostly authentic; (3) the pool & grounds are nice; (4) the kitchen was adequately equipped; (5) linens and towels were fine. Second, comments about wasn't so good: (1) the adjacent factory activity can be heard at times; (2) the coffee maker uses pods that are not available at a grocery store, but Gianni said he would supply them for a cost of 5 Euros for 10; (3) the property gate requires getting out of your car to punch in the code-very inconvenient especially if bad weather. At 7:00 am when we were leaving the property for the airport, the gate to the driveway would not open for us to be able to leave and fortunately we had a phone number for Gianni's parents who did not speak English but we were able to communicate the problem with the gate and they came to property to manually open the gate. This delayed us by 30 minutes & more importantly, if Gianni's parents were not available to open the gate, we could have missed our flight because there was no way to drive off the property. Hence, the main reason for the 3-star rating!
