About this house rental
A cozy cabin on the river with mountain views, ideally located between Downtown Durango and both the Vallecito and Lemon Reservoirs. Come here to get away from it all, while enjoying the relaxing sounds of the river and serene views of the mountains and pines. Our river cabin blends a spirit of rustic log construction with recent updates. A stocked kitchen and well-furnished living space will make your days in the mountains comfortable, yet accessible to all that Durango has to offer! You’ll find our cabin simple, yet charming. A wood stove is located in the living room that can take the chill off a cool night. Sleeping accommodations include a king size bed in the main bedroom, as well as two twin beds in the guest cabin. A queen size sleeper sofa in the living room provides additional flexibility. A washer and dryer provide the opportunity to do a quick load of laundry if needed. Traveling to the mountains is a great way to disconnect, but if you’d like to stay connected, the cabin is equipped with high speed internet, a cellular signal booster and 4K Smart TV’s. Enjoy a movie night with Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu and more. If a family game night is something you’ll enjoy, grab a blanket, get comfy, and select from the board games for family entertainment. We promise you’ll want to come back again and again to enjoy the tranquility of living on the river in the mountains while be close to ALL that the Durango area has to offer. Our property is available year round for enjoyment of all seasons. Thank you for considering our cozy cabin. Our guests can enjoy private access to the Florida River. Guests will have access to the entire property which includes both a main cabin and guest cabin. We love sharing our river cabin with family and friends. A private setting that gives a peaceful getaway for our guests to enjoy. Our cabin sits on a 1/2 acre lot so there is room for up to 4 vehicles with RV hookups available. After hosting 100+ guests over the years on VRBO with a 4.9 Rating. Our cabin is part of a peaceful river community. Our neighbors enjoy nature and the outdoors just as much as we do. Please be respectful and considerate of their privacy by keeping noise to a minimum. We love our cabin and hope that you enjoy the simplicity and sounds of the river as much as we do.

This is our fourth year staying here and it is still great. It’s always been nice but they’ve made some upgrades and it’s even better now.

Super relaxing peaceful stay!! Comfy bed too! So nice to sit out on the back deck and just listen to the river. Highly recommend!

Sitting by the river was awesome! But in order to go out the kitchen door to the deck we had to go outside the cabin around and use a key to unlock the door so we could open it, the keypad on that door does not work. There were weeds and dandelions all over the yard nothing was really groomed the deck was dirty the coals for the little grill wouldn't light, no matches or lighter to light it. We bought new fluid, coals and lighter that we brought home with us. The bathroom lights flickered most the time. I'd like to believe it was clean, but after taking the pillow cases off, I was disappointed to see a blood stain on one pillows and the others were questionable. Nice location from Durango. Easy to find. Bed was fairly comfortable. We've stayed in better maintained homes and cabins. Sorry to disappoint you but I feel this quaint little cabin could use some love. Thank you,Darla
