About this cabin rental
Escape to our cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains! Fall asleep to sounds of Little Mary’s Creek, enjoy your coffee on the wrap around deck, or delight in exploring your own 7 acres in the forest. Our cabin is a cheerful, clean cottage to come home to- or decide to spend your days on property splashing in the creek and sitting out by the fire pit.
The space
Our cozy cabin is a new build that celebrates our relationships and planting roots in Virginia.
It comfortably sleeps 4 with a queen bed on the main level and 2 single beds in the loft. We are happy to accommodate a 5th guest on a trundle bed in the loft for an additional fee. Please note that the loft is accessed by a mounted ladder with a safety railing, which may not be suitable for all guests.
The eat in kitchen is fully stocked to prepare all of your meals. We provide organic coffee and teas, sugar, creamer, olive oil, salt and pepper. The bathroom features EWG certified clean shampoo conditioner and local artisan soap.
Unplug, explore, read from a carefully curated selection of books, or play a number of favorite games. Turn on the tv upstairs or the portable DVD downstairs to enjoy a variety of movies.
Our cabin is on the side of the mountain with some steep terrain and lots of natural elements outside to discover. The creek is a fun place to splash and explore.
Cell phone service is very limited.
There is no Internet at this time.
Note that in all of the beauty and serenity of nature, there can be dangers. Please be aware of your surroundings- and remember that we share this amazing property with insects, plants, and animals that are native to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Cabin was great! Alicia was a great host, letting us know if anything was going to happen at the cabin promptly. Because of the lack of cell reception we had to go to town to get her messages, but that's ok!Place was clean and well stocked (thanks for the coffee!). Beds were comfortable. Property is secluded. The cabin is close to many small towns, so we got to go on many adventures. Hiking was a big part of our trip. Some other things we enjoyed were: the creek out back, the firepit (We did buy 2 of our own chairs since the small ones were too small for our children) Dinosaur Kingdom II, the safari, downtown Lexington (specifically the games store and arcade), The Fishing Pig restaurant in Waynesboro and the go kart track right next to it. We hiked Crabtree Falls, Blue Ridge Tunnel, Natural Bridge and Humpback rocks. All within driving distance.

Absolute wonderful little hide away. The cabin was clean from top to bottom. It had all the amenities you need for a comfortable get away with your significant other or a week long stay for a small family. The mornings were so nice and peaceful with the birds singing and the water rolling over the rocks in the creek. Definitely a great place to unwind and get back to nature. Highly recommended. I will definitely be booking for our anniversary trip next year and probably the years to come.

We were only at the cabin for a short time but it was wonderful! Such a cozy and inviting place tucked away in nature. We would absolutely visit again
