Cabin in Shenandoah Valley, VA
Reasons to book
About this cabin rental
It’s simple. It`s warm. And it’s made for two (plus the dog, obviously).
Cozy by design, not by accident
Inside, the cottage is calm and uncomplicated. Nothing flashy, just right. A comfy queen bed, a full bath with shower, and enough charm to make you forget what day it is.
The wood-burning fireplace anchors the living space—and you’ll feel it the moment the fire crackles to life. Whether you’re curled up with a book or watching TV (there’s one in both the living room and bedroom), this place wraps around you like your favorite blanket.
And yep—high-speed internet is included. So you can disconnect, or not.
Big deck energy and screened-in porch dreams
The screened-in porch is kind of the unsung hero here. Rain or shine, it’s the best place to sip coffee, play cards, or just listen to the trees do their thing.
And when the sun’s out? Head to the large deck, where there’s room to stretch, snack, or just let your mind wander. Add in a firepit for starry nights and a pond that reflects it all back—and you’ve got one of those places where the world feels softer.
Pet-friendly and totally private
We don’t just allow pets—we know they’re part of the reason you travel. Bring up to two pups (just $40 per pet per stay), and let them explore the yard while you relax. With a private driveway, free parking, and no shared spaces, you won’t see anyone unless you want to.
This place was made for people who love slow mornings, afternoon naps, and the kind of silence that feels full, not empty.
Just one more thing…
Cottage in the Woods doesn’t try to impress. It’s not curated for content or staged for likes. It’s just peaceful. Honest. And the kind of place you remember for how it made you feel.
Bring your book. Bring your boots. Bring someone you love (or really like a lot). The woods are waiting.

One important requirement

That’s the practical stuff. Once it’s taken care of, you can get back to the part that brought you here — slowing down, exploring Berkeley Springs, and enjoying a little time in the mountains.
