We were in the area to tour Normandy WWII sites. Our host was very clear and responsive to our questions and needs and very friendly and helpful when we met at check in. After long days of touring, it was very relaxing to come back to the gite, say hello to the cows and enjoy both the pastoral outdoor surroundings of the farm and the spacious, comfortable accommodations. We took most our evening meals in Lisieux, about 15 minute drive. We hope to visit Normandy again and if we do, this is where we’ll stay.
