A very genuine and authentic old priory, located in a calm and beautiful area. The place is decorated with taste but is not ostentatious. It’s extremely comfortable. Each room is uniquely decorated. Some have a shower and some a bathtub. The owner, Geraldine, gave a very warm welcome and prepared a breakfast to take away as I had to leave very early in the morning. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Au Bonheur d’Alphonse! The house is spacious and beautifully decorated in an eclectic, charming style, with several cosy seating areas inside and outside. Our room was large, with high ceilings, a very comfortable bed and two pillow options (down and synthetic) - such a thoughtful detail. The bathroom was complete and spotless. There were many small attentions that made our stay feel special: plenty of lamps and a reading light by the bed, coffee and tea in the room, an elegant room spray, and even a torch for guests’ use. We also really appreciated the excellent Wi-Fi, the well-equipped kitchen available to guests, and the warm welcome drink of local apple juice. Géraldine and Fred are wonderful hosts - Geraldine speaks excellent English, gave us a detailed tour and very clear explanations, and was genuinely helpful (even with our French!). Breakfast was one of the best we had in France: fresh juice, eggs cooked to order, and delicious homemade jam. We truly recommend this B&B for anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and a heartfelt welcome. Merci beaucoup Géraldine et Fred - we hope to return one day!

Everything. The location is lovely, the story of the house is amazing (it has been a family house for generations). The furniture, the interior is beyond. We visited in September, so unfortunately we couldn't use the pool, but I can imagine how beautiful and serene is the house during Summer. One of the best hosts, lovely breakfast!
