Our host was easily accessible and we had all the amenities advertised. The cabin has such a great view of the bay.The resident eagle was fun to watch as were all the hummingbirds!Beautiful location and perfect cabin to relax in!

We rented the lodge to have a middle school graduation party and it exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful, the views are amazing, and there is plenty of space and beds for everybody. We got plenty of use out of the clean and well maintained hot tub, sauna, and outdoor grill. The owner is so nice and responsive. You won’t regret staying at the Golden Alaska Lodge. I was sad to leave.

Very beautiful with fantastic views. Problems we had were: No shade on skylight over upstairs bed. With the long days that saw rising Sun at 4:30am and not dark until after 11pm. Interior felt overstuffed, not very comfortable. Upstairs bath has no shower. Stairs have very narrow treads and are carpeted. This always made us unsure of footing. If a guest used the bed on 2nd floor landing they have to go down at night for bathroom. The entire upstairs was not really very comfortable.
