The room is large, clean and very comfortable - even a good sized balcony - with some rooms having a view over the lake (unfortunately we just looked over the motorway). The bed is excellent and the bathroom has a good shower. Breakfast was very good and served up to 11am. This hotel offers good value for money.
On arrival the hotel looks closed. We had not seen an email telling us to go to the nearby service station to check in and information on the hotel notice board was only in German. But eventually I got through on the telephone and we walked down to the service station and checked in. Another minus was that the hotel restaurant and bier garten were closed (only open for breakfast), so we again walked down to the service station where we had a surprisingly tasty meal. So all in all, after getting over the shock of arriving at a "closed" hotel we were very happy with our stay and would certainly stay there again when travelling through Germany another time.

Easy acces from the highway.
Easy late check in at the petrol station and acces to the rooms (as described in message from the hotel before arrival).
Easy early check out - just putting the accescards in a box when leaving.
The rooms had all we needed for a good nights sleep on our way home from France to Denmark. Didn’t use other facilities and restaurants etc was closed (night time). But the petrol station and shop is open 24/7.

Pleasant location considering it's a hotel next to the motorway.
The restaurant closes at 8pm. Virtually no staff. No opportunity to enjoy the view with everything closed so early. Our booking was not on their system and we did not get the room we have apparently booked. I appreciate this was last minute but it could have been mentioned that the type of the family room is not guaranteed.
