About this house rental
White River at your back door. Prime location for relaxing. Come Watch Eagles from the deck. Large back yard, fire pits,large covered deck for outdoor dining. River is easy access for kayaking and bank fishing.
Whether it’s a fishing trip, family vacation or friend retreat, we welcome you to make our place your place, come on over and stay awhile.
Our favorite space is the covered back deck. You can enjoy a dinner and sunset or cup of coffee and watch the fog roll off the river in the morning. There is an Eagle Nest you can see from the deck. (They are very active in the morning. )
You can’t beat S’mores with a nice fire and boat watching. There are 2 fire pit options and plenty of wood and chairs.
If you like horseshoes, you can throw a game just steps from the water.
A 65 inch TV has streaming options, smart tv.
The kitchen and dining areas are open to the living room and offer ample seating for 12plus. This is the ideal space for any scenario. Game nights and family gatherings or just a few friends catching up over the days adventures.

Master BR has an additional bunk room.

The garage is set up for your fishing convenience. We have boot racks and wader racks. Rod holders and ample storage space.
There are 5 kayaks available.
life jackets and ores for the kayaks are located in the garage. We ask that you spray kayaks off and return them to the garage.
There are 2 refrigerators and 2 microwaves. A gas stove and oven. Please look around in the kitchen cabinets, we tried to stock anything you might need to for any cooking occasion.
There is a coffee and tea station. Drip Pot and Single use Keurig along with electric tea kettle. We provide coffee, variety of tea, sugar and creamer.

BR #4 is a bunk bed, and has a full over queen.
The grill runs on propane provided from the house. Very important to shut it off when not in use.

We ask that you respect our home and return it to us as you found it. Outside of needing a good wipe down, things should be left in an orderly fashion. We work hard to provide you and the next guest with a 5 star experience.

I spent 8 days in the 1st week of June with my wife and 2 grandchildren. Our 1st impression was WOW! The bedrooms were very comfortable, although we used only 2. My grandchildren stayed in the twin-bed bedroom by the back door to be close to the 2nd refrigerator. They are grazers at night. The 2 refrigerators are a wonderful addition, especially for large groups. We loved the kitchen for the spaciousness. The kitchen has all you need for cooking and serving. There are more appliances and accessories than the majority of rental homes. The back view is incredible from everyplace in the back of the house. The outside deck is huge and stretches along the whole back of the house. I spent many hours just sitting and watching the river, which is only a couple of hundred steps away. When you get to the river you have to fish for rainbows. There is a nice hole that stretched the width of the property. I got my limits of rainbows every day. The grandkids just loved the kayaks. Every day the kids were gone for 2 -3 hours going upstream. I have already recommended this house to 2 of my friends. I will be down on the White in October, and you can be sure I will stay at the house if it is available. Carrie, I cannot tell you just how much we enjoyed your property. It was incredible. On a score or 1-10 I give the Buck Trout Lodge a 11. Thank you so much.

The hostess was so helpful from the moment we booked through our entire stay. She shared recommendations and answered all our questions promptly. The home was even more beautiful and spacious than the pictures show. We truly enjoyed every relaxing moment. The river was perfect to fish and kayak. The amenities were amazing, but all the little extras the host provides in the home (like sound machines and kayaks with trailer) were truly wonderful! We would highly recommend staying here and probably will be back! Everyone in our group from 12 to 75 years old had an awesome trip!

Everything was by and large great. Only issue and it was small- the outside grill was difficult to get going. House was great - clean, well equipped and roomy. Would stay there again.
