About this cottage rental

Situated in Brunthwaite, a small hamlet in a conservation area, located at the SW foot of Ilkley Moor, the cottage was originally the stables for Ashwell Farm and has been sympathetically restored and furnished to give modern day comfort whilst retaining its Grade II character with original beamed ceilings and mullioned windows. It is close to all amenities with shops, restaurants, take aways, pubs in the nearby village. We are close to Bolton Abbey, a picturesque setting for weddings, our accommodation is useful for wedding guests, being only a 15 min drive to this venue. .

This is wonderful cottage in a great location high up above the Aire Valley. It was a superb central location for our trips to Haworth Steam Railway and Bronte Rectory, Richmond, Grassington, Silsden and Skipton. The owner greeted us on arrival and showed us all the details that made for comfortable week. She very kindly provided bread, milk, eggs, etc which made our first day much easier.

Beautiful cottage with such character. Spotlessly clean. Lynne gave my husband and I a wonderful welcome and showed us where everything was in the cottage. Very well equipped for self-catering. Absolutely all that you will need. Peaceful and relaxing area. Ideal to recharge your batteries. Good walks to enjoy. Beds very comfortable and a fantastic shower! Highly recommend for a peaceful break.

We had a wonderful time at this cottage over the Christmas holidays. The house had been decorated and a wonderful welcome pack was there for us on arrival. The house was clean, warm and very well equipped. The location was perfect quiet but within walking distance from Silsden with a range of pubs and supermarkets.The communication with the host was very good.I would highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back!Thank you, Lynne
