About this house rental
Minutes away from the Tweed Airport, parks, recreation, and beaches. Free off-street parking. The neighborhood offers residents a dense suburban feel; most own their homes. In East Haven, there are lots of coffee shops and parks. It also has many beautiful natural places to explore—and it's a pretty quiet town. The summer concerts and Fall Festivals are routine. The pizzas are rated among the finest in Connecticut.

We were on New Haven for a wedding at The Estate. Rudy's place was just 2 miles from the venue. Rudy's was a great place. Very clean, comfortable beds, plenty of room - everything was just perfect for our stay. Highly recommend Relax at Rudy's !

We didn’t get any notification or check in prior, so I sent message to VRBO the day before. No response, I sent another one on the day of the trip. Still no response, so I called and he answered the call. He apologized he forgot about it. He lives in the small house next to the rental. He was polite and gave us a tour when we arrived. The house is old full of strong scent. It has split level of living room and bathroom on the lower level which we didn’t use at all. We only used kitchen, family room on the first floor. The kitchen table could be better cleaned as it is very sticky, not sure if there is grease on it. The couch is too soft that the body sinks in immediately. Upstairs there are three bathrooms with a full size bathroom. The shower water is good. One bedroom is facing the road, but it is quiet at night. The mattress is probably wrapped by the plastic cover, it makes the noises each time I turn. We stayed for 2 nights and out for the day. The first night when we came back, there was a car in the driveway and the kitchen light was on which we thought we turned it off. We quickly examined everything and nothing was out of order, it might be the owner’s car that I was overthinking. There was no car parked there when we checked in and met the owner the night before. When I charged the phone, I noticed the power outlet cover was loose because it didn’t charge my phone initially. Overall, it is an ok stay. The price was high during that peak weekend.
