About this cottage rental

Close to scuba diving, whale-watching, and more, this smoke-free cottage brings it all within reach. Make short work of the 4-minute drive to Casa das Mudas Arts Center or the 4-minute drive to Calheta Beach.

Spend some time at the nearby beach (enjoy the sun loungers!), relax by the communal pool, or sip a drink in the garden of this 1346-sq-ft cottage, which also features a balcony. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and cable/satellite TV.

The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and an ice maker. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, a bidet, and towels. And because there's a washer and dryer, you can go a bit lighter on your packing. Other amenities include a dining area, bed sheets, an ironing board, and housekeeping.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Nelson’s house in Calheta. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The house has such a cozy and inviting atmosphere, it immediately felt like a home away from home.One of the highlights for us was the beautiful garden & ocean view. It’s clearly cared for with love, and it creates such a peaceful setting to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The view from the property is absolutely stunning, and spending time outside, whether in the morning or at sunset, was a real pleasure.The house itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It suited us perfectly and provided a great base to unwind and enjoy the area.As mentioned in the description, it is a cliff house, so you walk down to reach it. Parking is available on the side of the road, and there are steps leading to the house. For us, the steps were completely manageable, but it may not be suitable for someone with mobility difficulties.Overall, we really enjoyed the house, the garden, and the incredible view. It was the perfect place for what we needed, and we would happily stay again.
