We are located on the Upper White River between the Bull Shoals Dam and Gaston’s Resort. Next to the #1 state park in Arkansas in the breathtaking Ozark Mountains, just 90 miles from Branson, Missouri. Blanchard Springs Caverns is about 90 minutes away. If you’ve never been in a cave—this is a beautiful experience. (Then it’s time to journey to the dock to catch that trophy fish.)
The lighted private secluded dock (which is for Rivercliff’s guests only) and the river are at the end of our long driveway. It is a refreshing walk anytime of the day. The water on the river stays a constant 47 degrees year around, so in the summer months you will be much cooler near the river so come in August to avoid the heat near your home. The White River is home to the wintering bald eagle. Expect to see Canadian geese floating down river and deer on our property,
We supply everything you need for a fantastic experience but your fishing gear, clothes, and consumables. You may rent our boats or kayaks (on property) OR bring your own. If fly fishing is your thing, we suggest using our private boat ramp where you can launch your own boat. You may also keep your boat behind our rental boat dock for easy access during the day for your convenience. Or you can just catch a trophy trout right off our lighted private secluded dock. Fishing is open year around, and the White River is a famous blue-ribbon trout fishing location written up in Field and Stream magazine and is noted for the world record brown trout of 34 lbs. We can provide fishing guides at your request.
Enjoy the morning fog that quickly dissipates on the river and the crystal clear clean waters of the White River. Fish, watch the wildlife, relax, rent a boat or kayak.

Quaint property close to river. We were able to park our boat on site and use the dock to fish. Cabin was sufficiently stocked with linens, dishes & staples. We celebrated our 30th anniversary here and both hubby and I caught our personal best brown trout off the dock. The area is quiet, fairly mosquito free thanks to their many birdhouses and feeders. They do have a decent amount of projects in motion and upgrades under construction. They did not make noise while we were there. The owner was on site when we arrived and we spoke to the property manager a few times in passing. The only downside was the batteries in our door lock to the cabin quit and we went 4 days without being able to lock up when we left. However, the property is gated so we felt safe enough leaving our belongings behind while we explored the area and fished. This is a fishing cabin. It’s not high end luxury. It’s clean, decorated appropriately and smack dab in the Best trophy area with super easy access to the water. You can also rent a boat from the owner or hire a guide.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The property is actually a duplex rather than a cabin, and while it’s not directly riverside, the river is very close and easy to access. We especially loved the comfortable bed and the dock area — both made our trip very relaxing.We also loved how close it was to the state park and to Gaston’s, which is an excellent restaurant and made the location even more convenient for us. We also appreciated the gated entrance and liked that the gate stayed locked when coming and going, which made the property feel more secure and private.A few small things outside could use some attention, especially around the deck area where some weed eating and cleanup would help. The chairs on the front porch also could have been cleaned up a little more.That said, we still had a great stay and enjoyed our time here very much.

The inside was fine but the photos were very misleading. We booked this property for the view and the private boat dock only. It didn’t have a view of the water from the porch like in the photos, from the cabins you couldn’t even see the water. The photos were taken from a porch of a home they’re working on. You had to walk down to the dock get a view. Then the private boat dock was full with boats they have available to rent so we were not able to use it for our boat like we expected. It definitely wasn’t what we thought we were getting. The place was clean and check in was easy though. We had just booked it solely for the views and boat dock and were disappointed with both.
