About this apartment rental
Spacious and very comfortable new apartment. Furnished with a Queen Bed Set in Master Room with Dresser, a Second and Third room with two (2) bunk beds, both with a full closet, accommodating 4 kids (or 2-adults and 2-kid) in each room. All rooms have A/C and have full size closets, spacious balcony, kitchen with all stainless steel equipments, micro, washer/dryer, TV set, DVD, music system.

Peña Mar Ocean Club is a well secured complex with 24 hour security. The development has three pools, 1 children's pool, 1 tennis court, one basketball court, one Jacuzzi, walking track, and an exercise room with sauna, playground and clubhouse. The view from the balcony is spectacular you can see Villa Marina, Palomino, Palominito islands and on a clear day you can see Culebra and St. Thomas. Access to apartment with no stairs at all, 2-car parking spaces, gated complex
The complex is very safe with 24 hours security and gated entrance. Snorkeling trips are 1 minute away (at the marina you see from the deck); Playa Seven Seas is a beautiful and uncrowded beach; a nature reserve w/ guided tours is 5 min; and El Yunque Caribbean National Forest is 20 min. Grocery shopping is 2 min away. Also, you can take a ferry (5 minutes away) or an airplane on the local airport to visit Culebra and Vieques islands. El Conquistador Resort and the golf course are 3 minutes away. Walking distance to Marinas where you can go for a day sail to Icacos, Palominos, Ramos among other islands. San Juan is only one hour away

Carlos was a great host. The communication and the promptness in his responses was amazing. The apartment was exactly as described, no issues, the kids enjoyed the pools that stay open until 10pm. The only issue was security. They only have one security guard at a time so if you want to come in when they r making their rounds expect at least a 20 minute wait to get in. Even with that, If we come back to Puerto Rico we would definitely stay here again.

Location is good, the place was clean and it's gated. Host communication is easy and friendly. We had some electrical issues from a previous storm, and I just did not want to deal with getting them fixed (this is vacation and I do that at home) so we just did without TV. I think the hot tub should be removed as a feature. It is never hot and jets not on. No fault of the host, but you get your hopes set on relaxing the muscles on vacation and it's not going to happen, in that lukewarm, bath water (hot tub). Pools are good! I would suggest putting all food, bread and all, in the fridge. Ants got in my French baguette before we got a chance to use it. They don't come out unless there is food out. Easy access to grocery store and beaches to the north. Lovely outside area and place to hang wet clothes. It's good to have a washer and dryer, too. Staff at the gate are all super kind!

Stayed 2 nights with 6 people and it was a very nice stay. Carlos is a great host and goes out of his way to make sure his guests have a nice time. My son enjoyed the pools and it's a close location to Walmart and places to eat if you have a car. Plenty big enough to accommodate even more than 6 people. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!
