About this house rental
This is the perfect spot for a few families or larger group. Powder Peak Whole House is an entire house with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and with the suite you have access to two living rooms, kitchens and dining areas. Powder Peak Whole House is steps from the skiway and close to the Silver Queen chair. It’s also pet-friendly – so an ideal spot for everyone in your family.
As you get to the house, you will notice two front doors. One accesses the main house and the other accesses the suite, but there is also an internal door to connect the two – no need to go outside. This is perfect for those groups that have someone that needs a little more privacy or just needs some quiet away from the entire group.
From the entryway, you can head upstairs to the main level of the house or right into the suite where you have a full kitchen, living room and dining area as well as a full bathroom and bedroom. You can also access one of the BBQs and hot tub from the bedroom in the suite.
On the main level of the house, you have a large and well-stocked kitchen, cozy living room with a gas fireplace and TV and dining area with lots of light. This level also has a bedroom with a queen bed and full kitchen. You can also access the small deck with the 2nd BBQ and head down to the hot tub from this level from the outside deck too.
From the main level, head upstairs to the rest of the bedrooms, bathroom and den with cozy couches and a TV – perfect for kids to unwind at the end of the day.

Special feature: Our unit has a keyless entry (you will be provided the access code prior to arrival). This makes it convenient for you to arrive at any time after check-in time - so if you want to check in late or come a day early arriving late at night - you could just make first tracks in the morning.
Your hosts live at Silver Star during the winter, so we can ensure your holiday is everything you expected. We are also available to provide you with our "insider" tips so that you will love Silver Star as much as we do.
Maximum stay for this property is one month - want to stay longer? Just ask and we may be able to consider it.

When we arrived, the drive was treacherously slippery with ice. Very dangerous especially for older types (like me). If the driveway can't be cleared, there should be a box of sand.Kids can easliy access the upstairs window sills. There needs to be chains on the windows to limit their opening so a child can't accidentally fall out.The kitchen utensils, etc. in the suite are a bit lean.Other than that, we had a fine time. Nice accommodations and a great mountain.My wife is curious about the backsplash in the main kitchen - do you recall where those tiles came from?

The house is comfortable we came with a large group so the large dining table was great, the living room itself was a bit small. It is nice there are so many bedrooms with a lot of sleeping arrangements the main beds were EXTREMELY COMFY! Good access to the village with shuttle pick up at the end of the driveway. Overall a nice place to stay. The kitchen sink could use proper stoppers.
