Mille e una Notte – Amalfi Pool Villas for Rent Location:
It lies above the picturesque village of Conca dei Marini (halfway between Amalfi and Positano).
Villa Mille e una notte has not only been completely renovated but also offers breathtakingly lovely views of the famous Amalfi Coast as far as Amalfi itself in the distance.
Mille e una Notte – Amalfi Pool Villas for Rent Description:
As with most of the houses in the region, Mille e una notte is on multiple levels, in this case three.
The swimming pool and a covered terrace with a dining table and plenty of space for sun loungers occupy a level below the main house.
Here and in the solarium above you can laze away those sunny days in complete seclusion and tranquillity, sunbathing and also sampling the local culinary delights.
The house itself is fully modernized and lacks nothing in terms of comfort and amenities.
On the same level of the swimming pool there is a double bedroom (the only one with as convertible twin beds) with a shower/bathroom en suite.
Another external unit on the same level of the solarium terrace overlooking the swimming pool comes with air conditioning, welcoming another double bedroom and a shower bathroom en suite.
Villa Mille e Una notte is a great luxury solution for travellers wanting to experience an exclusive holiday on the Amalfi coast in a tranquil and relaxed location, yet with shops and restaurants within walking distance and close to the liveliest areas of the coast, Amalfi and also Positano.
Access to the property is by means of 150 steps up from the nearest street.
The lowest level:
Access is through the swimming pool area, 10 steps leading to the middle level.
The middle level:
Crossing the lawn in front of the main house, the entrance is to the right.
To the left of the villa’s entrance there is a small laundry corner.
To the right upon entering is the dining room with French windows which leads onto a small balcony, followed by the fully equipped kitchen.
Further on is the living room with TV.
On this floor there are two double bedrooms that share one bathroom full equipped with shower and another one which is a “guest bathroom” with just toillet and sink.
The top level:
From the living room a stairway takes you to a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom equipped with shower.
This bedroom opens onto a large shaded terrace with a fantastic view of the sea.
An external stairway takes you from this terrace down to the lower level and lawn.
The Villa is provided with an air conditioning system.

We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend staying here. Be ready to get a workout up the stairs, but the views are worth it. We did have an issue with our driver trying to find the time so I’d recommend being dropped off at the hotel below. This isn’t any issue with the house- just a recommendation so you don’t have the same problem we had finding it.

Arriving to Conca dei Marini Federico , the house manager was waiting for us. He was nice and welcoming, helped us with our bags. The stairs was a bit much more than we expected but after day 2 we kinda got used to it. And the view was all worth it. Previously I have requested some groceries from them and they did all the shopping, Federico even brought us herbs from he’s grandma’s garden. Such lovely people. Caterina the owner was sweet and welcoming. Showed us the house. The house was amazing , very traditional and beautiful. The pool was cleaned every morning, was perfect for every day swimming. The feeling that you are swimming above the see it’s indescribable. We had views from each corner of the house . The flowers smelled like heaven and the sunsets were magnificent. We couldn’t be happier and couldn’t choose a better place. We love amalfi culture and coast and this place made us feel like locals. We fall in love even more . Thank you very much Federico and Caterina !!!

Everything about this place was top-notch! And, you will be in superb shape from your climb up a tremendous amount of stairs to reach your destination. Once you arrive, you will be overwhelmed by the beauty of the views!Be prepared to ask for the permethrin if you arrive in July as we did, as we discovered friendly little visitors in our bedroom suite! Ants were everywhere in our bedroom, including our bed, though not any of the others. Caretakers were promptly on the scene to rectify the situation. And we were able to sleep without disturbance once the treatment began to work, although the kitchen remained an attraction. And after helping us, our caretakers kindly encouraged us to help ourselves to the garden vegetables. Fabulous tomatoes, basil, eggplants, etc., !The furnishings and ceramics in this villa are second to none and enhance the overall experience. You will be delighted by the beauty that surrounds you, not only outside, but in each room!Be sure to pack extra toilet paper! As Simonetta kindly explained to us on the day before our departure, when we inquired if we might have more rolls, "This isn't a hotel!" So provision accordingly. We were able to hire the friendly (and strong) Federico to bring wine, food, etc., and next time would also purchase more paper towels and toilet paper.Enjoy!

We enjoyed the villa which is beautiful with breathtaking views. I suggest arranging the luggage porter the steps are difficult. We really enjoyed Conca dei Marini which is a small local village. The one local market was great and excellent restaurant near by. It’s best to have 2-3 taxi # to get around. You will certainly get your steps in but it’s all worth it.
