About this house rental
This pool house in Provençal and contemporary style at the same time is located in Montélimar, where it promises its guests an unforgettable vacation in the sunny Drôme. The rural and quietly situated vacation home stands on a 1,700 m² garden plot with a playground, table tennis table and a spacious, comfortably furnished terrace. Centuries-old trees cast a shade in which it is pleasant to relax in the hot summer months. This is a large, spacious house in the outskirts of Montelimar, perfectly placed to see so much in the local area.
Unfortunately we were there in a period of extreme heat - 40C every day and managing this became the focus of our week and limited our experiences.
The house is well stocked and equipped for a large group - so the kitchen and summer kitchen by the pool are great. There is a large lawn for ball games (weather permitting!) and we loved that there is a Granny flat at the bottom of the garden - so actually privacy there was much appreciated for 1 of the bedrooms.
What this does mean is that house, of 6 bedrooms has 2 bathrooms and only 1 shower. The main family bathroom has a bath with shower head but it is not on the wall and no shower curtain. If you were 10 people upstairs in the 5 bedrooms, this is not sufficient.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our week in Montelimar.
