Escape to this family-friendly 4-bedroom retreat in a peaceful Derby neighborhood, just 15 mins from Wichita.
Comfortably sleeps your group with a king bed, two queens, and a fun bunk room.

The Space:
-Families will appreciate the baby-friendly amenities provided, including a Pack ’n Play, safety gates, and kid-friendly games.
Each bedroom upstairs has its own tv, with two bedrooms with queen-sized beds that share their own bathroom, and across the hall is the master bedroom with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom.
Step inside and feel right at home in this spacious and comfortable retreat. The home is thoughtfully designed for families and groups.

-Dedicated workspace with a desk and chair, perfect for remote work.

Downstairs Fun Zone: Kid-friendly layout with a bunk bed (two full-sized mattresses), arcade games, and a huge bean bag for lounging.

-Derby is very family-friendly and has some beautiful parks to go check out, a sand volleyball/pickleball complex, and Field Station Dinosaurs for the little ones!
-Centrally located in Derby, a cute, quiet neighborhood that's just a hop, skip, and a jump (20 minutes) away from downtown Wichita.
-Just down the street is the Derby Golf & Country Club
-The city of Derby is in a quiet suburb of Wichita, with new local businesses sprouting up all the time!
- If you need to stop and grab some groceries or forgot a few items, there is a grocery store right up the road from us!
Getting Around:
-We are located just off Meadowlark Drive and Longhorn Drive. Just up the street from Meadowlark is a major road known as Rock Road.
-Garage is open to guests and the driveway can park three cars.
-We are just a short drive from many cities including downtown Wichita, Mulvane, and Goddard.
-The Dwight D. Eisenhower Airport is a 22-minute drive from our house.
-10 minutes from the McConnell Air Force Base.
-18 minutes from the Century II Performing Arts Center.

Nice place to have a family get together. Close to everything you need, and lots of Room. I might suggest that host adds in description that this a quad level home. The stairs were steep and all bedrooms and living room had stairs going to them. The family that came in as well as my husband all have disabilities which made it extremely difficult to navigate. The pictures show one set of stairs but not how steep the steps are. Other people may not have this issue, but for us, it would have been good to know.

Location is just perfect and easy to get to. Nearby shops and eating places were plentiful. It was close to Wichita and the surrounding small towns.

The VRBO was very clean and comfortable! It was conveniently located to stores and our wedding venue. We had plenty of room! I would like to suggest adjusting/replacing the beds so they aren’t quite so squeaky. That was the ONLY complaint by our family. Thank you for a lovely weekend!
